thank you UNICEF

This is one thing i'm proud of doing this time of the year. As a simple act of generosity and gratitude for all the blessings I was showered by the Lord Almighty, I also want to give something back. 

At first when my agent Ren Perreria approached me and began in his "so fast " way of talking (as one agent describes him) to persuade me to be a part of the UNICEF by donating, I was in doubt. Behind my mind things are running, like; is this person really telling me the truth; am I really ready to give a part of my monthly income to something i'm not sure of ; can i afford to share a part of my earnings and a lot more. But the moment he tells me who the recipient of my donation is and knowing that education will be one of the proceeds I didn't think twice of helping.  Remembering how my parents would struggle to make ends meet in order for me and my siblings to get the finest education, I can really feel the importance of having one. And knowing that my small contribution can send  so many children to school is something i'm most excited and happy about, so I signed up.

Now i'm on my 3rd month of sharing my blessings to UNICEF and I'm so proud of myself that i was able to allot a part of my earnings to something worthwhile.

My family is so proud of this endeavor that i'm into for they also believe  in the importance of education. This is also my way of thanking God for giving me parents who values education so much that they have provided me with good education and a quality life. So right now its my turn to share to others , which is the right to have proper education in order to experience quality way of life.

I will continuously support the advocacy of UNICEF PHILIPPINES and i would like to encourage you too to share  something. Lets make a commitment to ourselves, that we maybe a small voice but in our little ways we can make a difference.

reading this makes me so proud of myself, finally i can say that i'm part of the UNICEF family

it is indeed a commitment, something i'm willingly doing to help eradicate poverty in the Philippines

Corrupted Love

A warm sensation fills my body
My heart races with every touch

As I lay there hoping the moment

Revealing the terrors of my love She thought she had found love, but realized too late in the game that it wasn't all she thought it was. She had given everything she had to this one person, only to have them throw it right back at her! And now she is lost in a world full of sorrows, feeling as though her Love is corrupted and will never be found again.

i love to doodle

A few hours ago I was got this eagerness to revived again my first ever blog site. How could i do this? I love writing, and it's been a while since I last posted on this site. What lame excuses do i need to utter again? First, I got hooked on koreanovelas, Jonathan Abrams then famous  friendster got me all addicted then came Mark Zuckerberg  who wooed (i'm laughing for my choice of word) me so much that I devoted all my idle times browsing, playing and getting too much acquiantances on his famed  social network. So i forgot to at least spare a little time to my first passion...writing.


 Actually, I'm not a super blogger, i'm still new on the circle. But what i'm sure of is that i"m not new at writing. I can still remember how it all started. I was in my junior years  when i started writing, free verse poetry ( which i love until now), short stories and re-wording quotes to make it look that i'm the original maker.I feel inlove with writing because of the so many essay writings we used to have in class way back then. I may not be the best writer in class, but I know that what i wrote back then were words free-flowing from my heart and my mind. I write what my mind tells me, regardless if it is in it's correct grammar or not. 


Not so many knows my love for writing, its because I really am not a good writer, i'm not like those commercial writers who can  awe people by their writings. I am just a neophyte in terms of my writing skills. But my simplified writing exudes passion and love for whatever i am writing. I don't write to impress people nor to  gather accolades. I write for it's my outlet for bursting emotions, experiences and thoughts that i can't simply blabber on a day to day basis. 


I reconstructed my blog site because I know this is one thing that makes me happy. Just typing a few thoughts  and sharing it gives me joy. This maybe a simple accomplishment on my part, owning a blog site. But you see, simple as it is, I call it HAPPINESS.

Another reason for my blog reconstruction: I am so lamely good samaritan. You may ask me, why? I have actually written a few good prose and poetry which i directly submitted to poetry sites and never had a copy of those. Call that stupidity. Now even of i want to post my works here..well a few are left 'coz only those written in my poetry notes are left to really call my own. That's why i revived my blog in order to compile my oddly thoughts and writings.

My sisters have been my number one  fan, they never grew tired reading whatever I write. They simply like my horrible ways of writing. They believed so much in me, and it makes me happy when even if miles are keeping us apart, they will still turn to me for help  and advices whenever they need some literary pieces. One thing more is  how i know and believed that it was I who had influence our little nica to read books. And it was I who taught her to be a voracious reader and it was I who encourage her to write. Little did I know that she's so hooked now into short story writing. Need I say more, surely I'm the proudest ate.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

 Dumbledore has a deep capacity for love, frequently reminding Harry that love was the greatest magic of all.

Honeydukes Sweetshop is one of the most famous wizarding confectioneries in the world. It sells wizarding sweets of all descriptions, including Chocolate Frogs, Liquorice Wands, Pepper Imps, Chocoballs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Fizzing Whizzbees, Drooble’s Best Blowing Gum, Toothflossing Stringmints, Ice Mice, Cockroach Clusters, Jelly Slugs, Blood Lollipops, Acid Pops and Sugar Quills, among others. They also sell creamy chunks of nougat, shimmering pink squares of coconutice, fat, honey-coloured toffees, and hundreds of different kinds of chocolate.

The owners, Ambrosius Flume and his wife, live in a flat above the shop. There is a trapdoor in the cellar of Honeydukes, which connects to a secret passage which leads to a statue of a one-eyed witch on the third floor of Hogwarts. In the 'Prisoner of Azkaban', Fred and George Weasley give Harry the Marauder's Map which he uses to enter Hogsmeade through the passage into Honeydukes.

Hogwarts is divided into four houses, each bearing the last name of its founder: Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff. If you where to try the sorting hat, what house would you want it to choose for you?  I'm  a true blue Gryffindor and  i think  the sorting hat will place me in this house. whatya think?

Zonko's Joke Shop

Zonko's Joke Shop has jokes and tricks that can "fulfil even Fred and George's wildest dreams." It closes down in Half-Blood Prince. Fred and George had planned to buy the shop, but decide against it when Hogwarts' students are banned from visiting Hogsmeade due to heightened security after Voldemort's rebirth.

Hogsmeade Village, or simply Hogsmeade is the only settlement in Britain inhabited solely by magical beings, and is located to the northwest of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Sirius Black, nicknamed Padfoot, is the last heir to the House of Black, a once notable pure-blood Wizarding family. He is the brother of Regulus Arcturus Black (who went by the initials R.A.B.) and cousin to Bellatrix Lestrange. He rejected his family's pure-blood elitism and reverence for the Dark Arts. In contrast to his home life, Sirius greatly enjoyed life at Hogwarts. He was proud of the fact that he was the only Black to be sorted into Gryffindor. He was inseparable from his best friend James 'Prongs' Potter and befriended Remus 'Moony' Lupin and Peter 'Wormtail' Pettigrew. 

Sirius' name is a reference to the Dog Star, which is also called Sirius (his animagus form is a large black dog). It is the brightest star in the night sky.

 The Wizarding World of Harry Potter forms part of Universal Parks and Resorts' Islands of Adventure theme park in Orlando, Florida. It is one of seven themed areas within the park. 

The area's flagship attraction is Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey which exists within a re-creation of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It takes riders on a journey through Harry Potter's wizarding world. Other attractions include Dragon Challenge, a pair of dueling roller coasters, and Flight of the Hippogriff, a family roller coaster. The area also features a re-creation of Hogsmeade which includes a full-sized model of the Hogwarts Express as well as many gift shops and restaurants from the series of Harry Potter books. These including Dervish and Banges, Honeydukes, Ollivanders, Zonko's Joke Shop, The Three Broomsticks and The Hog's Head.
